Guest guest
Hello all, I have read many posts and read Dr. Goldberg's book and I think my son fits Dr. Goldberg's protocol but before I travel to California from New York I was wondering if some of you could help me? I recently took my 4 year old to another DAN, who I like so far. He ran blood tests. As I suspected, my little guy came back positive for HHV1, HHV6, EBV and possibly Lyme. Basically, a viral kid. He also has a mutation that the doctor says is disturbing his methylation process. He has been on Acyclovir for about 18 months with not much improvement. I have read on some of your posts that Dr. G will not take a patient unless he feels he can help them. Does he make that decision based on all the paperwork and tests you send him before the appointment? My husband is getting a bit uneasy about all the doctors and if I beg to go to California and Dr. G says he cannot help, I think that may be the last straw. You all are inspiring - thanks for the help.
