Guest guest
hi! <<< Does anyone know what the Natural Killer Cells levels should be at? What is normal and what is considered low? How low has anyone had them? >>> i'm talkin' 'bout NK function here, not a count - mine's been low as 4, my daughter's was 11 first time she was tested. i've heard of other patients, all the way down to 0, 2, 3, etc. the normal " reference range " is 20-250 for healthy individuals. but this is kind of, i dunno, weird.... if this " healthy avg " is taken from sick people visiting their drs. we are generally less than100. i know somebody quite ill who's dr considered her NK function of 22 " normal " :-\ i think her doc just didn't know what to make of it. there was also a woman on here not long ago - who had gotten hers to around 250, and thought she was at 70 - 75%. if you read mark konlee's Keep Hope Alive site, it sounds like the 3-400 range is more like healthy and normal. hope i haven't confused you more . . . :-) btw, NK cells are part of the cell mediated immunity. @}{~{<<~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ debbie s. - dlsherman@... Guest guest
Dave - Have you or anyone else tried the IP-6 product from ImmuneSupport.com? It's avaiable for $14.95 and claims to boost NKs. I'm thinking of adding it and believe several people have mentioned good luck with it on this list. Any info is appreciated - best, Jennie --- Newton <dnewton@...> wrote: > > Had a Natural Killer Cell Fxn test done 5 weeks ago, > and the results > were 8 on a scale of 20-250; oh oh! > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi Jennie, I am aware of several other products that claim to boost natural killer cell function like MGN-3, Beta Glucan, IP-6 and others. For right now, I just want to take the Formula 560 and Immunopro. Then when I have the repeat natural killer cell function test, I will have a good idea of what caused the results. > > > > > Had a Natural Killer Cell Fxn test done 5 weeks ago, > > and the results > > were 8 on a scale of 20-250; oh oh! > > > > > __________________________________________________ >
