Dear Patti, you will probably get a lot of advice on this and since I am

new, there might be better ideas - but, I will share our experience. When my

son Josh first got sick and fist started on prednizone the stress and drugs

kept him awake most of the night. They put him on halcion and it worked but

there are so many bad side effects Josh was scared to take it very often -

so his doctor suggested 1 or 2 tablets of benedryl about one hour before

bed. He still has sleep problems but the benedryl has helped with no side

effects. Lou, mom of Josh

thanks , I'll keep that in mind...I know Mike took a gravol the other

night and it made him a mess the next day with the hangover...he gets mad at

me cause as soon as my head hits the pillow I'm gone...I don't want him to

get used to taking valium to sleep...part of his problem is laying there

thinking too much and then his mind gets going....

damm disease...

have a good day,

Patti
