Guest guest
that is really amazing, thanks for sharing it. It seemed vaguely familiar but I've never listened to it closely, its quite heart- rending and I can really identify with what the singer is saying. It sure is accurate for KO's, especially those of us painted black. It made me think about my siblings' refusal to see the truth about my family too...my sister actually wrote me an e-mail one time about my 'defensive and confrontational' behavior with my father. Well, anyone would react that way if they were constantly being criticized to their face and trashed behind their backs...but oops, that's right, I'm not entitled to have a valid emotional reaction because I am a Painted Black KO and there is none for me. So I should just shut up and be the dumping ground for all the family's crap.
Guest guest
hat is why I posted it. I never heard a song that spoke to me in quite that way. I'm glad it stuck a chord for you. I wish you happiness, despite your family.
