I think an emergency kit is a great idea also. The only problem I would see is

the medications. So let us know what you find out if you can.

Judy, we are neighbors. I live in Republic, Mo. and of course all my doctors

are in Springfield. Actually I was born and grew up in Springfield.

I go to all St. s doctors and I have really been happy with them. I have

the greatest group of pain management doctors and also the greatest orthopedist.

I have been very happy with all the treatment I have recieved and they have all

treated me with the utmost of respect.

Maybe after we get to know each other a little better through the group we might

want to meet or even talk on the phone.

I am so sorry you had to hear that from a doctor's mouth that is terrible. I

need knee replacement surgery myself but I don't know if the doctor is ready to

do it or not I will find out next week.

Actually Judy I was born at Burge and I remember when it was still called Burge.

My daughter was born at North the year before South opened. I always

drive her by there and tell her we were born at the same hospital and she rolls

her eyes and says " oh mom " LOL

I like living here though it is a good part of the country.
