Guest guest
We are having amazing results from the protocol with our child. He is currently on Valtrex which has done an amazing job for improving his motor function, Diflucan and Celexa. He is doing amazing BUT he wakes up between 1 - 2 am every night. I am sure it is the fact that he takes his ssri before bed and have called our dr to see what he wants to do. Any suggestions? It is awful when the sleeping thing happens, we get so tired and can't deal well. Sometimes with the introduction of new meds this would happen temporarily for . Also if you are giving an SSRI make sure the office knows when you are giving it. Ask them if it should be a morning or evening thing. And sometimes as they are getting better the world becomes an exciting place and they don't want to miss a thing. Hang in there, this will pass. Guest guest
Dr. G had us switch the SSRI to the morning, it helped a bit, some nights it is still hard for our son to get to bed. Guest guest
I'm not familiar with that one.I'm not an expert or doctor, but I remember reading in Dr. G's book that there are only 3 or 4 SSRIs that are the right category for . Guest guest
You got it, Sheryl!! The combination of starting ssri and valtrex did it! He is far from ‘normal’ but at least we see that he doesn’t have to be prompted as often and is WAY less aggressive. He has this insomnia issue and we are hoping to tweak that one. Thank god!!!
