I checked with Dr. G. today. He said that Stevia is a good sugar. So feel

worry-free to use it.

For 1st time user, some stevia contains ingredient not allowed by diet so

check carefully.

Sorry, Randy, I mixed up raw Stevia with Truvia.

We use the packets also...I've never seen raw Truvia.

I found Truvia (small packets for coffee) very good, too. But I have not

tried

raw Truvia. Have your tried it?

We use Truvia, also from the stevia plant but without the aftertaste.

I use Stevia in place of sugar - in cooking and drinks. I didn't hear Dr. G.

mention about Stevia but Googled to check that Stevia doesn't feed yeast and

spike up blood sugar. Does anybody else use Stevia? Check the ingredients

when

you buy stevia (comes in powder, liquid form in different brand names)

though as

some mix in other stuff not allowed by diet.

Are you concerned about the “fake†sugar and dyes in products like Crystal

Light? I am.

Crystal Light is sugar-free, and, at least the last time I checked, it was

Dr. G-approved. My son absolutely HATES water and hates anything carbonated.

He will only drink juice, so I give him Crystal Light or diluted juice(1

part juice, 3 parts water).
