Guest guest
, Thanks for this info. My son was on valtrex for 2 weeks, going into 3rd week and got sick, sicker than I’ve ever seen him. In his 5 years of life, I have rarely seen him sick. I know everyone at school is sick and flu is going around, but he then got infection in his chest. I really felt like the valtrex kicked it off. Hoping he does get less sick next time. Make sense and it’s sad that they have to go through that. Here’s hoping for a better ‘sick’ period next time. Hang in there, and most find that at the end of a year, although it is usually much quicker than that, their child is much healthier - it shows. They also tend to regress less with illness as they get better too. At least that's been our experience and I've heard the same from a lot of others. But at first they seemed to get sick so much easier - especially the kid who seemed to never get sick (which was actually abnormal too).
