I was listening to talk radio at lunch today to hear what the autism controversy

was.  Got back to work & threw this together to Rush.  Love him or hate him, he

has a huge audience.  I doubt w/all the pissed off emails parents in the autism

community will be sending that mine would be read, but here's what I sent, and

maybe if people flooded everywhere they could and catch someone's interest, now

sure would be the time.  Friday is free-talk on his show - maybe someone could

get thru.  (I typed this literally as fast as I could because I was at work &

shouldn't have been doing personal email so forgive the little errors please.)

Autism is a medical disorder, not developmental, not genetic, and not vaccine

damage.  You cannot have a genetic or developmental epidemic - it's

scientifically impossible.  So they assume vaccines...

Vaccines can only exacerbate a pre-existing problem, resulting in certain

injuries.  Autism has many studies showing immune dysfunction - however, while

many try to show the vaccines are causing the dysfunction, it is incorrect. 

It's an incorrect paradigm.  There is chronic immune activation, causing chronic

immune activation in the brain, already proven in an excellent paper published

Jons Hopkins several years ago.  Why this didn't begin to change the paradigm of

autism is beyond comprehension.

The fierce belief in vaccines results from many obvious regression after

vaccines.  I saw them in both of my children, yet I do not believe vaccines

caused my childrens' autism.  My oldest son regressed after the MMR, then got

better.  He developed full-blown autism while he had the flu.  It activated the

immune problems.  The flu vaccine might not have, even though it had mercury

back then.

The fierce belief that mercury causes autism is because the near criminal

practice of chelation for mercury etc actually can show immediate and

significant improvements in some kids - but it likely has nothing to do with

mercury being removed.  Chelation can actually modulate the immune system and

temporarily reduce the inflammation (while it's doing significant other damage),

but they " see it help " and believe why it MUST be mercury.  But findings of

higher levels of metals like mercury in a person can be the result of chronic

immune activation or chronic infection, because the magnificent body will

disable the part that removes these, just keeping it safely disabled while it

works on infection or inflammation.  It has nothing to do with consumption.  If

a body gets healthy, it will dump all it's metals on it's own far better than

chelation ever could.

Also, the 'genetic' paradigm, and the 'developmental disorder' paradigm are

impossible.  It is scientifically impossible for there to be a genetic or

developmental disorder EPIDEMIC.

However, there is a new human retrovirus recently found in Chronic Fatigue

Syndrome - XMRV and MLVs  - an illness that had an outbreak around 1983 and

was barely researched w/horrible controversy against the CDC's labeling as a

mental disorder, and there are more than 5,000 studies published on CFS showing

abnormal immune function in these very ill people.  Funny thing:  autism has the

same abnormalities!!  The comparison between children with autism and

HIV-positive children having viral replication is staggering.  Studies on HIV+

children show regressions in speech and development of autistic " like "

symptoms.  But when treated with anti-retrovirals, all these symptoms

improve or resolve. 

You don't vaccinate someone with a chronic untreated viral infection. 

Mainstream accepts that.

You vaccinate HIV+ people, but you prefer that they are on anti-retrovirals

first.

A quote from the researcher Judy Mikovitz of the Whittemore Institute

who identified the virus in CFS and is also researching (and finding) it's

presence in autism said this:  " On that note, if I might speculate a little

bit, " she said, " This might even explain why vaccines would lead to autism in

some children, because these viruses live and divide and grow in lymphocytes --

the immune response cells, the B and the T cells. So when you give a vaccine,

you send your B and T cells in your immune system into overdrive. That's its

job. Well, if you are harboring one virus, and you replicate it a whole bunch,

you've now broken the balance between the immune response and the virus. So you

have had the underlying virus, and then amplified it with that vaccine, and then

set off the disease, such that your immune system could no longer control other

infections, and created an immune deficiency. "

So there you have it - a possible explanation of regressive autism in a

significant number of cases associated with immune system deregulation triggered

by vaccination.  Not as a cause, and yet it doesn't mock and deny the parent's

observations that their children regressed after each vaccine.  One of the first

things pediatricians are taught is that they should always always listen to the

maternal instincts - that they are very significant.  But because our

observations don't match up to their paradigm, they ignore it.

What the government has done to people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (and they

have a discordantly high number of children with autism) is criminal.  It is a

PRIVATELY FUNDED research facility that has made this finding.  The Red Cross

has finally stated that people with CFS should not donate blood - that is the

only way CFS will get any research funding, and the only way illness will be

proven due to this virus.

Then maybe our kids with autism will have help.  And the vaccine/mercury

controversy can be put to bed forever.  They can review a family medical history

for immune dysfunction, perform an alternate vaccine schedule, and kids would be

so much safer.

Please share this Rush.  No one else is talking about it.  The mainstream media

won't pick it up and we don't know why.  (I have CFS since 1983 and two children

with autism.)
