Guest guest
Xiao, Dr. G told me not to worry about calcium levels especially in boys. They are fine without milk. Best, Marcia
Guest guest
My son love to eat chicken soup and it turns out that it is a great source of calcium. The calcium leaches from the chicken bones when you cook it. It is also a great way to get vegs. in children and there are are tons of variations to experiment with to suit a child's taste. Hope this helps, On Mar 12, 2011, at 1:01 PM, xiao xu wrote: > Dear parents > > Since my son has had lower level of Calcium report after I stopped cow milk for him, I always looked for a milk substitute but didn't get success. > > I have heard from a few parents that orange juice is a good source of Calcium. Guest guest
Hi Xiao, My 13 years old autistic son has been gfdf for 10 years. He always has low level of calcium. Every time when i give him tiny bit of calcium supplement his calcium level becomes sky high in the blood. Two months ago i slow cooked salmon bone for at least over 24 hours. I then took the bone out which had become very soft. I then grind it with a little water using the coffee bean machine. This is a very good source of high calcium which the body easily absorbs.
