Guest guest
, To save money, have the labs done by one of your laboratories that are covered by your insurance. Just take them a slip from Dr G. Then they will be covered the same as a preferred provider. Best, Marcia </message/46739;_ylc=X3oDMTJxcWM0dmR2BF9TA zk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzEyODk0MARncnBzcElkAzE3MDUwNjE2MTYEbXNnSWQDNDY3MzkEc2VjA 2Rtc2cEc2xrA3Ztc2cEc3RpbWUDMTMwMDkzNzE3OQ--> Re: Switching gears to NID's Posted by: " Pedersen " <mailto:mpedestrian@...?Subject=%20Re%3A%20Switching%20gears%20to% 20NID%27s> mpedestrian@... <michellepedersen70> michellepedersen70 Wed Mar 23, 2011 8:26 pm (PDT) I made the switch from DAN to and haven't regretted it. It made more sense to me and seemed to match what was going on with my son better. He looked/acted sick, he couldn't fight off sicknesses, he always regressed after a big sickness... Dr. G takes some insurance, not ours... we pay up front and submit our claims to insurance (because he is out of network our insurance covers 70%... and most of labs... not perfect, but we are finding it substantially cheaper than DAN was because medication is covered). Call their office to find the cost of first visit. He is incredibly thourough, and I found the first visit invaluable. He then will do phone consults once a month if you are out of state, and you can get labs done through a local lab. We made gains just by stopping most supplements that we were on from DAN protocol. We have not done the SPECT scan yet due to cost, etc. he is still treating our son without it. We will do it at some point.

Guest guest
Hello, I just sent in all the patient packet to Dr. G's office. I was hoping to get an appointment in June but they are booked until August. The office manager said there are 30 kids before they can even schedule my son. Did others have a tough time securing an appointment? I have to get an appointment so I can start looking for a flight. I am a little scared though. I have read his book so I know what to expect. So, all I have been doing non stop for my son since the age could have been wrong? My son is six about to turn seven in May. Is it too late for him? Guest guest
Keep up the hope. Our son went at age 5, prior to that we had done DAN and homeopathy for no real gains. He is now in a regular kindergarten and playing with other kids. I would reccomend starting the diet, weaning off supplements and keep calling to see if an earlier appointment will open up. Best of luck and remember its never too late Dr. G also sees some adult patients who are on this board.  From: May Kue <dlawb@...> Subject: Re: Switching gears to NID's Date: Wednesday, April 6, 2011, 11:26 AM  Hello, I just sent in all the patient packet to Dr. G's office. Guest guest
Hi! My son has been with Dr. G 6 years. We had to wait 5 months for our first appointment with him “back thenâ€. It has been so worth it to be on the protocol and for my son to be Dr. G’s patient. In the meantime, you could start working on your local pediatrician and let them know you are trying to see Dr. G and see if they will start looking into the protocol. The more medical professionals are aware that we won’t settle for “no treatementâ€, the more they will have to start helping our children without having to wait long periods of time and travelling great distances to see experts like Dr. G. Guest guest
Hi, We saw dr G in Feb the 4th and did not have to wait to long to see him. My daughter is doing amazing with dr G protocol. She did the  spect scan on Tuesday the 2nd 2 days before we saw dr G by dr Mandell who was so great with my daughter. After the scan was done it was sent to dr Uzsler for interpretation and then he sent the finding to dr G. We love dr Goldberg. He is an ange! I finally found someone that knows what is wrong with my child and helping her get better.
