Hi Carole.

I don't know what this means but my son was on Famvir in September and weighed

about

70 lbs at that time.  The dose was 250 mg, 1 in the am, 3/4 in the afternoon,

and 1 at night.

Hopefully this helps.  Otherwise, could you try paging Dr. G?

problems with local pharmacy today they made a huge mistake with his meds.

My son who weighs about 80 lbs is on 1 1/4 tablets, 3 x per day.

Carole, we are doing Famvir at approximately 360 mg a day with my daughter who

is 50 lbs...maybe that will give you some idea?
