Guest guest
HI , I dont know Dr. G's opinion about a dx for mastocytosis, but we used a drug for it (Gastrocrom) just for my daughter's gut issues (coupled with other therapies) and it helped her tremendously to the point where we don't need it anymore. The reason I knew it helped with the gut issues was I was giving her antihistamines and it helped her have normal stools. That being said, there are lots of other immune-mediated issues that involve different kinds of immune responses in these children, not just mast cells and taking a most complete (as possible) approach to decreasing inflammation in our children is necessary. -Jen > > What is Dr. G's view of a mastocytosis diagnosis?
