Hi Rebacca,

My daughter(lives closest to me) says I just want to the ER to

get " shot " for pain. People cant see pain unfortunately. I now go

to a pain specialist who gives me 10 mg vicodan every 6 hours.

Sommtimes it doesn't last that long but it is good that I know the

doc understands (he has seen my xrays MRI etc.) I don't mention my

meds to my family anymore.

The doctor gives me enough for a month no more than for a month. It's a high

dose but actually I've taken it so long

it really doesn't last long enough. I don't slur and I walk fine.

He wants me to have ne surgery for the compression fractures but

I've not my nerve up to do it.

Thanks for your concern. It mean a lot that someone does understand!
