What is causing his eyes to hurt?

So confusing about whether all this is actually die off. My grandson was taking

Famvir 250mg./ twice a day. Starting Feb 25 the famvir was inc. to now 500mg

a.m. 500mg noon 625mg. before bed.Since. first 4 days no change, then irritable,

out not focused, not sleeping, eating.Had another few good days happy eating

sleeping, focused then now really not doing well. Now in addition pressing his

eyes told ST his eyes hurt. One reason for the inc. in famvir he has had

difficulties with bright lights Dr. said this could be viral. There was a

question about test the techs used a different test kit his HHV6 was 3.8 now

this last one came back 34.2. Very concerned about all this. My daughter is

trying to find out details.

Question: Has anyone have die off come & go? And has anyone have the eye pain or

light senstivity? Thank goodness this wk. he is out of school for spring break

this has been the only recent change.

my girl had a lot of pain inthe forehead and can´t open the eyes when she got

the die off with famvir.

Thanks for your response today he is doing much better even picking up toys he

hasn`t touch in yrs. which to some seems minor but to us this is great. Its so

nice to see him happy wanting to relate with us now.

I guess I thought it was so strange when the die off stopped for 4 days he did

so good on those days then die off started again. I was just wondering if

anyone else had this happen to them while on famvir?
