Hi Jim et al,I recently got all excited about the article on lemons and how very useful their rind and pulp is as well as the juice. Every day for a week or so, instead of squeezing 1/4 lemon into my tall mug of distilled water, I now liquify a quarter of an organic lemon: rind and all and enjoy its refreshing, bracing taste.There's just one problem: I seem to be having surprising amounts of gastric bloat! What's going on? I'm assuming that this is probably a good thing, but it's uncomfortable and distracting with frequent runs to the loo, and I'm wondering whether this is a herx or a major adjustment in my GI tract, as far as its flora and fauna are being affected. I'm not sure whether I should back off of just wait things out. Any suggestions, speculations, experiences?Thanks!Be well,Léna
