Guest guest
Hi Jim et al,I recently got all excited about the article on lemons and how very useful their rind and pulp is as well as the juice. Every day for a week or so, instead of squeezing 1/4 lemon into my tall mug of distilled water, I now liquify a quarter of an organic lemon: rind and all and enjoy its refreshing, bracing taste. There's just one problem: I seem to be having surprising amounts of gastric bloat! What's going on? I'm assuming that this is probably a good thing, but it's uncomfortable and distracting with frequent runs to the loo, and I'm wondering whether this is a herx or a major adjustment in my GI tract, as far as its flora and fauna are being affected. I'm not sure whether I should back off of just wait things out. Any suggestions, speculations, experiences? Thanks!Be well,Léna
