Guest guest Posted January 9, 2008 Report Share Posted January 9, 2008 Hello I am looking for advice or directions as to where to direct my pain doc regarding my condition since we are going no where. I had surgery 4 months ago to remove 2 fatty tumors in my right and left groin. Since then I have been in great amounts of pain. I cannot stand or sit for longs periouds of time, I cannot bend or lift more than 5lbs. I cannot wear pants because they constrict the area. The Dr's are telling me that it is nerve damage that is built up because I have had 4 previous hernia surgeries and 2 nerve removals done in the same area. I am taking 3600mg of neurontin and supposed to take 40mg of Oxycontin but stopped when I learned of all the problems with that drug. I go back to the Dr tomorrow and hope that I can get some help with things to ask him. I do have Fibro and looking at whether or not to file for diability. Thanks for any help.
