We live in NJ and the ASPEN group has meetings just for

adults with AS. In Philedelphia there is a group call ASCEND

that is also very very active.

Our ASPEN group just had a conference dedicated to adult issues.

There are definately groups on the west coast too.

My guess is that any large cities will have support you are

looking for.

My sister is - my nephew is about 25. And it's very possible that I will be in the same boat in a few years. Where are you located?

You or a family member with aspergers: Have you been able to lesson your

symptoms/behaviors - lack of eye contact, rigid thinking/behavior patterns, poor

social communication, etc. If so, what treatments helped you? Can adults 30 or

more years old recover from aspergers through bio-medical intervention? Most

sources I read say you can't change the diagnosis. " Parenthood " on TV puts that

across.
