Guest guest
We live in NJ and the ASPEN group has meetings just for adults with AS. In Philedelphia there is a group call ASCEND that is also very very active. Our ASPEN group just had a conference dedicated to adult issues. There are definately groups on the west coast too. My guess is that any large cities will have support you are looking for. Pam > > Is there anyone out there caring for a grown up child with aspergers? Mine is extremely depressed. Guest guest
You or a family member with aspergers: Have you been able to lesson your symptoms/behaviors - lack of eye contact, rigid thinking/behavior patterns, poor social communication, etc. If so, what treatments helped you? Can adults 30 or more years old recover from aspergers through bio-medical intervention? Most sources I read say you can't change the diagnosis. " Parenthood " on TV puts that across.
