Guest guest
Okay, my husband and I ordered the Potentiometers for the QSC amplifier and the service manual and decided we were going to attempt to fix it ourselves. There wasn't anyone that would service the amp in Alaska and I think the amp must weigh close to 50 lbs to expensive to ship out. Anyway the parts were 13 dollars, the service manual was 15 and the cost of a soldering iron and a desoldering iron was about 30.00. We took on the task of fixing my amp today and replaced the potentiometer knobs and my coil machine is now running again. Thank goodness, I feel like I am on eggshells as I don't want that to happen again as it is too much work replacing the parts. I am just glad that I am up and running again. I am going to call and he is going to walk us through testing all of the switches with a multimeter to make sure they are working correctly too. I started taking some Banderol the other day and then got a frequency generator for my PE 1 Photon device and ran that the other day for only a few minutes, I am now in herx hell. I don't know if it is the Banderol or the Photon device which I ran 432 from. I think Banderol treats Mycoplasma, does anyone know if it also is supposed to treat Lyme? Thanks, > > > > I bought the Doug Coil from Levy. He provides really really detailed instructions (for the lyme brain) with the machine plus great customer service. I usually set my machine at 13 amps because the coil will last longer. He does not require this. I asked him about it and he said 15 max but lower is fine. However that does weaken the power somewhat. Some of what you said Tara are apparently not concerns with my machine. I turn the amps fairly slow but definitely not 8 secs of time to do it ( says VERY slowly but I think I go faster than VERY). My gain knobs are always full on position as instructed by in his operating manual. So I do think they are slightly different. Or maybe it is just preference by the maker of the machines. I assume everything is running properly. Nothing has exploded yet. It did by accident turn up my amps before setting the capacitor switches and my gain knobs went crazy. It took me a > > little while to realize what I had done and I freaked out thinking the machine broke. I don't think there was any damage but I never did that again. > > > > > > >
