Guest guest
Jim, My instructions from Bill Chick were to take it every day with the protocol I mentioned. Did you have a different protocol instead of an everyday dosage? Steve Du Pre http://www.angelfire.com/jazz/isaiah40soaringeagle/index.html From: jschm111@... Guest guest
--- Were all the patients in this small trial suffering from pain and haveing low NK cells at the start? Or did some have no pain but other CFS symptoms? Remember, there are two types, those with low NK cell and pain/infections and those with high NK cell and no pain. Also, does that mean that antibiotics would not have an affect on these patients as Imunovir is an antiviral In @y..., " feige2see " <feige2see@y...> wrote: > Jan,question on results of the study,it said 16 people started,6 0ut > of 10 got positive results, did the other 6 drop out because of side > effects,I had to stop it after 3 weeks due to severe herxing, but I > would like to give it one more shot if I know 50%are getting > results. > > > > > > Send an Email for free membership > > ~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~ > > >>>> Help ME Circle <<<< > > 15 July 2002 > > Editorship : j.van.roijen@c... > > Outgoing mail scanned by Norton AV > > ~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~ > > > > [JvR: see also an older press report from > > Helix BioPharma Corp below] > > > > > > > > From: " Colin Barton " <colin.sussexme@b...> > > > > > > > > > > Imunovir/inosine pranobex (# 175)... > > --------------------------------------------------- > > > > Dr Shepherd MEA > > > > > > This is an interesting drug that's been around for quite some > > time and is mainly used by us docs to treat nasty herpes virus > > infections in the mouth and on the genitals. Guest guest
a, The purines are chemical compounds that have a certain double-ring structure that contains four nitrogen atoms together with carbon atoms. In the body, the natural substances adenine, guanine, inosine, xanthine, and hypoxanthine are purines. Adenine and guanine are found in DNA and RNA, among other substances. ATP contains adenine. So purines are very common in the body. Gout is caused by problems in breaking down and eliminating purines, which produces uric acid. When sodium urate crystals deposit in the joints, it produces pain. A purine derivative is a compound that contains the purine double ring structure. Imunovir, also known as isoprinosine, contains inosine, which has a purine double ring. Guest guest
, Would you mind saying why your son had these anti-virals, please? Chicken pox is normally a mild and self-limiting illness and full recovery happens spontaneously without medication. I wondered whether he has a diagnosed problem with the immune system that is recognised by the NHS? Thanks, Margaret > > We were prescribed acyclovir and then immunovir post chicken pox. The GP gave us a short week's course of Aciclovir from 2 days after spots appeared Breakspear prolonged this. Aciclovir caused halucinations (a rare side effect cited by the manufacturer) for our son who already has schizophrenic tendencies. We moved on to Immunovir prescribed by Breakspear at 60 pounds for 100 tablets ie 50 days supply. I didn't like the very depressed effect it had on our son which was perhaps die off and i pulled him off it feeling I might try it again once he was completely recovered from chicken pox. I would be very wary about retrying the Aciclovir for our son. I don't know whether reactions were worse for him because he has high strep levels (now being treated + penecilin and breakspear antigens) Anyway - just my experience of these 2. Guest guest
I know that there is a homeopathic remedy... can't remember the name of it which helps clear all the chicken pox virus from the system... One of the therapists we went to said that she often finds incomplete chickenpox virus die off at the bottom of health issues in children... I think she said including austim... I am fairly certain Professor Mossop also told us the same. Guest guest
Henry had chicken pox when he was 2 3/4. The osteopath said that the following winter Henry would be very healthy and have few/no infectious illnesses. I think he was right. The osteopath thinks that chicken pox helps develop the immune system. Is it likely Henry still has residual problems from the chicken pox? Margaret BTW, I don't know whether anyone would make anything of this. Henry recently had a viral illness that gave him very high fever (39.9 degrees)and made him pretty ill for a few days. I think I caught it but although I felt I was feverish the thermometer usually showed normal - the highest reading was 37.5, but often it was under 37. I was ill for a couple of weeks. Is it likely we had the same illness but our immune systems reacted differently? > > > > > > > We were prescribed acyclovir and then immunovir post chicken pox. Guest guest
Hi Margaret, At the time of us being told this Tatijana had a very stressed immune system. As a complication of chicken pox she ended up with double bacterial pneumonia, losing use of the top of one lung and the bottom of another.... She was very ill..She stopped breathing at home and I had to resuscitate her at home before the ambulance arrived - ( BTW we had called the GP an hour earlier as she was very hot- he listened to her chest and said it was clear.... clearly he was wrong). She was a very sickly baby.... We used a lot of homeopathics at the post chicken pox stage and when she went back to hospital 3 weeks later for another chest x-ray - they could not find any evidence that she had ever had chickenpox--- The power of homeopathics. I think that Tatijana's state of health with chicken pox meant it did not fully end and she carried residual stuff.... I am not sure about Henry's immune system so can only comment on how this situation arose for us. Guest guest
Hi Margaret Can't really help but I know had a big reading of the chicken pox virus in his system when we did the viral panel of tests at the Breakspear couple of years back. He had chicken pox v badly as a toddler, 10 months after his MMR . We have just started to see a homeopath and she is currently detoxing him from the MMR vaccines. I'm seeing her on Wed and will definitley ask her about treating for the chicken pox virus and let you know.
