Guest guest
Well lena, I'm def. not in the same state I was in 1 year ago...I thought I was dying I got so bad. I am doing the byron white formulas and have made a big dent against babs, bart, & parasites....I have some really good days....and then...their are days, LOL! It is def. still a process. But I have a huge demand on my shoulders with my son now going through the same. It's tough.... I am however pretty active but dealing with my second layer (EBV, & myco) starting to surface, so it's throwing me a curve-ball. I hate this disease.............I can't help it! I do like to keep tabs and see how everyone is doing. Helps me, too! Your such a nice person......glad things are going pretty well with you, Take care, Jodie L. > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > A while ago, I saw a documentary showing two biologists dragging a white cloth of some sort through a field to get a tick count. > > > It's pretty dry here in upstate NY; the lawn/meadows are yellowing, and I'd like to check the grounds for ticks. > > > > > > Has anyone any idea how to best do this? Is there a particular kind of fabric? Does it need to be scented with mammal smells? Any suggestions? I'm just curious, and would like to do this before and after rain, etc. to see what's going on here, as far as risk to mowing husband. > > > > > > Be well, > > > Léna > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi Jodie,I don't often say it, but I have an overwhelming respect for any Lymie who is also a parent of a child or children with Lyme. I simply can't imagine how you do it! Sometimes I think of how self-absorbed this disease can make me; can make anyone who's fighting daily merely for 'normal'. On the few occasions when my spouse has a medical issue, I crank into high nurse-gear, having learned so many good tricks for healing and being genuinely called to nursing, but after just a week or so, it leaves me so frazzled and I think of how it must be to care for a child with perhaps a completely different set of Lyme issues than my own. Lymie parents are a spcial breed of human soul. You've got my admiration, sympathy, and respect. You deserve flowers, baskets of fruit, and occasional respite on a beach somewhere. =)Be well, my friend,Léna Well lena, I'm def. not in the same state I was in 1 year ago...I thought I was dying I got so bad.
