Guest guest
Hi Holly, I am so sorry you are in so much pain and it made you wake up crying! I have arthritis in my neck and upper back area. When that pain is so bad that I cry, I rub Blue Goo, Icy Hot, or Bengay on the area. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have used a heating pad. I have taken baths. I have fibromyalgia as well as the arthritis along with some other chronic pain conditions and haven't figured out anything that will make my pain ease up lower than a 3 on my pain scale. I really hope the shots in your hips help your hip pain. What can the rheumatologist do for the rest of your body's pain? I really hope that the pain will ease up, that you will find a good way to help the pain, and that the rheumatologist can help to ease the pain as well. Any words of encouragement out there?
Guest guest
Holly, I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time today. I am 32 and have young children too that often have to help me out. I often feel horrible about this, but now I just take them into bed with you (or cuddle on the couch), put on a movie, and tell them you love them. Let them bring their pillows and blankets and have it be a " pajama day " . If you have someone who can come in and help you, if only for a an hour, call them and ask for help. You are in my prayers and I hope that the injections help you. bren
