Guest guest
I would like to know if anyone has a theory on why a majority of those in the spectrum have problems with their eyes - either not noticing things, stimming with eyes, avoiding eye contact, not picking up on cues, etc. Does it have anything to do with a connection between the brain and the ability to send messages to the eye to focus? Can this be explained by a virus? Any comments are welcomed. Thank you.

Guest guest
The very simplified way it was explained to me (not by Dr. G)…the brain is made up of different processing areas that need to communicate with each other. Each center may be working correctly, but the pathways between those centers do not. Healthy brain = healthy pathways. Many different things can cause those pathways to work incorrectly (or not at all)…including, but not limited to, viruses and other types of infections.
