Guest guest
I think dairy is a huge issue for my daughter, we have pulled dairy for about a month and are seeing some nice things. For now I am allowing her to have some soy and traces of dairy but am wondering if I should pull that as well? My daughter is nonverbal and can not communicate a stomach ache....I do think she has them and has just gotten use to having stomach aches? I am hoping as her stomach heals she will be more receptive to eating new foods. Now she is very sensitive to smells, textures, taste. I can not really pinpoint specifics because they change daily. I think this is because her stomach always hurts? The gagging at the sight/smell/taste of food has improved since pulling dairy. So I want to seize the moment...and expose her to healther foods. My daughter is a HUGE carb eater and this is something I would like to tackle next. I would like to increase her protein intake and encourage her to eat veggies. Now the only veggies she eats are spinach & carrots but they have to be shredded into her pasta and rice. Can anyone recommend a good website and/or cookbook that has some tasty high protein reciepes? Sadly I am not too creative in the kitchen and I too am a huge pasta eater. Thank you for any help.
