Guest guest
I'm very fortunate as my close circle of girl friends, know what I take for meds. One has been a friend since 4th grade! They have all known me for many years before i had this pain. My mom, dad and step mother, daughter (who is 20 yrs) know what I take and I'm so thankful that I have never been questioned. At times I feel a bit guilty about my daughter, but thankful that I was injured when she was old enough to understand (2002) so she remembers what I was like BEFORE the pain. Now she is even more sympathetic to me and others that she sees in pain. I just hate to see that " hurt " look in her eyes when she helps me out of the car. I don't tell everyone I meet that I take narcotics, I feel that it's no ones business except those I choose to tell. If someone I have told can't deal with it, then too bad for them as they don't have the pain that I have. True friends are hard to find BUT are never hard to keep! My " girls " will accept me as I am, no matter what I take, or what I do. This is a blessing.
