Guest guest
S. or Terry, when my d. coil machine stopped i found the power cord to the coil had been rubbing against the coil so when it heats up it has slowly worn through the cord. we took off 2 " of the power cord section to repair it, and my husband noticed the original connections to the coil were soldered together before being inserted into the 2 wire nuts. is it necessary to re-solder these wires before putting them into the wire nuts or can they just be twisted together, inserted into the wire nuts and then taped all back up??? we don't have a solder gun, but if it is necessary we will get one. thanks, barbara
