Yes, please see another doctor or as many as you can to get help.

Being in pain 24 hours a day without some relief causes your other

organ systems to not be healthy.

Your primary care doctor should refer you to a doctor. I started

out with an orthopedic doctor and then see what they say. The

orthopedic doctor will examine you and let you know what he can do and

probably send you to an appropriate doctor. I have seen a neurologist

but it was for the numbness, an orthopedic doctor, an orthopedic surgeon, and

neuro surgeon. I was also referred to a pain management doctor who was an

anesthologist and now I am finally seeing a pain psychologist or psychologist

who monitors my pain medication. I ended up there because there were no other

options and I take opoids to deter the pain and physical therapy when warranted.

I also got second opinions on all advice. Insurance allows for

second opinions. I think you should follow up as you could intervene

early before progressive damage is done and it takes more. You will be

helping yourself.

Please promise you will see someone soon and actually you should

go to the ER if you cannot stand. This is not a good sign without you

knowing what is going on.

Please let us know how you are doing.

Bennie
