Guest guest
When we first got our coil machine I tried coiling for Bart. (832) and had no reaction. About 5 weeks later when the red dots appeared, I tried coiling for Bart. again and had a BIG reaction. I'm coiling every day for it and am now up to 2 min. 10 sec., and am continuing to have strong reactions to it. We were at our LLMD, well actually our LLARNP yesterday, and we discussed testing for Bart. and Babs., which I've never done. I came to the conclusion that I KNOW I have Bart. from the herxes, and that I won't try coiling for Babs. until I've knocked out the Bart., and at that time, by my reaction, I should know if I have it or not, so why take the tests when there are so many false positives? So I guess for me, thanks to the coil machine, it doesn't matter so much that I have a definitive diagnosis since my course of treatment will be the same. I think the take-away from this is that when you start coiling for Lyme, it's not a bad idea to try 832 or another Bart. freq. from time to time as so many of us have it, and it can become more active when you kill the Lyme. My understanding is that it can be as, if not more devastaing than Lyme, so it's important to get on top of if quickly before it starts gaining the upper hand. Guest guest
Interesting this whole skin thing. 10 years ago I started having problems with sun exposure. If I was in the sun for awhile (1 hour or more), even with sunscreen I would develop, what I came to call it, an invisible rash. There was nothing on my skin but it would get extremely itchy and burn. There was no sunburn. I just figured I had developed an allergy to sunscreen. Well it didn't matter what I did or what I used the same invisible rash would come out within 48 hours of sun exposure and last about 3-4 days. I don't go in the sun at all now. So when I started rifing for bart my first subtle reaction, even at 10sec, was a prickly sensation on my skin. Not very bothersome but noticable. I would say that it is a bart herx reaction. Also, since rifing my skin is very ruddy (pink, blotchy) more so than my normal, blotchy skin. I have had my coil for 2.5 months now and must say that I am just a major chicken. After one bad herx from 832 at 30 sec. I backed WAY off my times down to 10-13 secs. I did go to every other day. After becoming bored with that I went to lyme 432 every other day up to 30 secs. I did not have even the slightest reaction to lyme but I do think it might have stimulated bart. I really think my main problem is bart. I am going back to bart and now that the kids will be out of school I plan to really attack it. I know I am not aggressive enough. I am really impressed with all of you that are so willing to be sick/herx. I just don't know how to go to that place for fear of not be able to function and most of all drive. My one herx made me crazy in the head. If it had been any worse I would not have been driving. Kind of like trying drive after 3 glasses of wine. Anyway, those are my thoughts on skin and bart. Guest guest
I have the red dots and many other Bart symptoms, but no Babs symptoms at all. So I would guess the red dots are Bartonella-related more strongly than Babesia. This is also what I have read in a number of places. Shauna Hi, this discussion was brought up a while ago and it seems like half said babs and the other bart. I have them....but I have both bart and babs too....who knows. But I wish I new which one it was! Jodie L.
Guest guest
I agree. Bart is known for it's skin symptoms. I wonder if it effects collagen production while it is in the skin. I have the skin of someone much older. My mom (whom I personally feel has lyme as well but says she will never do anything about it and doesn't care) has the same skin I do. She was told she had poor collagen production when she was in her 40s and that she would notice it when she got older. So I guess it could be an unfortunate genetic trait. Oh well. I actually tied to research this.
Guest guest
I have no idea if this is true, but I've heard that diatomaceous earth is helpful in collagen loss, perhaps replacement. Corroboration anyone?Be well,Léna I agree. Bart is known for it's skin symptoms. I wonder if it effects collagen production while it is in the skin. I have the skin of someone much older. Guest guest
I think you'd do much better with soluble silica, like Biosil, than with diatomaceous earth. Guest guest
If you try Biosil and start spontaneously getting panic attacks, it might be a side effect of the Biosil. I had to discontinue Biosil due to side effects. Interesting that someone else said DE gave them panic attacks, and DE is also rich in silica. Wonder why silica should do that to a person? Shauna I think you'd do much better with soluble silica, like Biosil, than with diatomaceous earth. Ellen
Guest guest
My dermatologist said you see the red dots (called 'cherry angiomas') on older people often, so depending on your age, it could be bartonella, or it could just be a benign symptom of age. I assume mine are due to Bart because I'm getting them at an alarming rate and I'm 28. Probably also a good idea to take into account the rate at which the red dots appear. Shauna HI , I do have the red dot so I have bartonela then ? no pain hopefully but a lot of gut condition . Thanks Marie

Guest guest
Interesting factlet, Shauna! I will keep that in mind. Guest guest
hi all i'm new and will be getting an EMEM5 soon. anyone know if there's any truth to the below quoted testimony i saw recently? thanks, Arlene " I can't remember when but at some point I was reading alot about the need to increase the time on each frequency to 10 minutes and this elimanated Herxes. I had another friend who was using the same machine and he quickly went to 20 - 30 minutes per frequency doing 4 frequencies over 2 days. I thought he was going to kill himself but he improved with leaps and bounds. I finally tried going up to 10 min. per frequency and after rifing felt great, no more Herxs just a big jump in energy. I went up to 20 min. per frequency and tried to limit my time to 1 hour total in a day as that made me feel the best. I fired my LLMD in 2000 which pleased him. I gradually needed rife less and went to every 6 weeks and every 2 months and now every 6 months just in case. "
