I have lost a lot of hair, luckily I

stopped losing it, but where I lost it, it never grew back, and I have

some bald patches. I'm wondering if the Lyme triggered something

w/my hormones and that's what spurred it, along w/stress. I've been

to several dr's for testing and they say my hormone levels are fine, but

I know when you have Lyme, it really messes up the hormones.

Hi , Hormone levels requiring therapy, including thyroid, are not

consistently agreed on by many doctors. Holistic doctors prescribe natural

hormones more generously than conventional MD's prescribe synthetic hormones,

which of course have more side effects. LD really does mess up our hormones,

and it's not easy to get it out of our glands. If you can't get a prescription

for natural hormones, you could at least find a good source of iodine like

Lugol's or iodoral, which do not require prescriptions. For a good explanation

of thyroid and other hormones, you can look at drbrownstein.com and consider

ordering a book or 2 on those subjects. I'm sure there are also other good

sources for information.
