Hi Marji, Where are you in terms of switching over your food to all healthy foods? Are you trying to address particular issues such as blood sugar or fatigue? If you are at the beginning of the process, I would suggest paying attention to how you feel after drinking rice milk. I keep a food journal in order to track my reactions to food. If you have already made changes and are comfortable with giving up foods, I would suggest looking for an alternative. Rice milk and the natural sweetners in it have the potential to negatively impact blood sugar. I use a cup of kefir and a cup of water in my blender shake along with the Goatein. This gives me the creaminess I want. I don't do well with any of the milk alternatives. I tried almond milk, and it made me feel like I had eaten a candy bar. By the way your shake sounds delicious! I use bananas and cinnamon too. Bananas are another food to watch out for. They may cause a blood sugar spike in some people, but I seem okay with them. I use them b/c I want the shake to be as filling as possible. Marjij wrote: Hi, I'm an avid reader here but don't post much. You're all so knowledgeable. I take a protein drink every day with blueberries, bananas, goatein (yes!), cinnamon, sometimes a raw egg, and mix it all with rice milk. I like vanilla rice milk. I have not seen this mentioned at all... there are natural sugars in the milk, I presume from the rice, but are there any objections to using this product that you know of? Thanks for any
