Guest guest
Hi Tara, Excellent advice about surge protectors..... Anyone using a rife or coil machine or any electronic device they wish to protect should have a surge protector, they can be bought online, WalMart, Best Buy, Lowes or Home Depot.. I would get one with at least 3000 Joules.. This is what they are: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?N=100007930%20600031122 & IsNodeId=\ 1 & Submit=ENE And each one will have a Joules rating on the package... These will protect your equipment from electric surges and most have a guarantee to pay for your equipment if it was plugged into their surge protector... The companies can tell if it was or wasn't plugged in, so best to always use it.. I've use them on my TV's, TiVo's, stereo equipment and all of my computer stuff... I would never run without this device!! Take care, Jim > > One more thing you can do to help prolong the life of your coil machine is to invest in a surge protector. Ever since I had a Belkin give its life for a laptop, I've been a Belkin fan, and they provide excellent insurance coverage with every purchase if an item plugged into one of their surge protectors is ever damaged by a surge. > > Especially this time of year, if you don't have one, it's a good idea to unplug it between uses. You never know when a thunderstorm will pop up. The surge that hit us was caused by a limb falling on the wires between the pole and house on a clear day. I've become so dependent on my coil, I wouldn't want to be w/o it, even for a few days. > > Tara >
