Has anyone experienced excessive hairloss from lyme?

Hi Terry,

Before I began thyroid therapy I was beginning to lose more hair in my brush

than usual, and my part was becoming wider. Hypothyroid is a common cause of

hairloss, and the thyroid (and many other glands) is often invaded by LD.

I have! And going through the medical arena they came up with the same results

as you! They say my hormones and thyroid are fine.

I do take some iodine and sup. with progesterone. I still lose some hair now as

I speak. I think some has to so with immflamation as well. At one time it was

severe, but it has gotten much better.

I am still in the journey, so I don't know the outcome but am hoping things

improve with better health. It was heart breaking to me as I had super thick

hair that went to my butt....if it wasn't for that I wouldn't have much left. I

def. think it's a combo of things...Which I had better ans. Jodie L.
