I take Cholestyrymine because of mold illness I dont know if this is the same as welchol or not.If it is , all I can say is that it is extremely constipating.If its not the same I have never used it. I prefer pectin, chitosan, glucommanan clays etc.If you take cholestyrimine or welchol you might have to add herbs that help make you go.There is a product called colonmax and yes it works powerfully to get the bowels moving..
