Guest guest
MODERATOR'S NOTE: " Soft Tissue Damage " means damage to muscles, tendons, or ligaments, as opposed to damage to bones. This could mean strains, sprains or tears. Soft tissue damage is slow to heal, often taking months, but does not cause true chronic pain unless it turns into something like RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy). Hello everyone! and thank you all for your very helpful posts I have had chronic pain ever since a car accident in which I was " T- Boned " . I suffered broken ribs and continuess back, neck, and neck-born debilitating headaches. For the first 10 months I had relentless neck, midback and head pain. I would also experience lower back and SI pain. I am still dealing with all of these pains but find relief from time to time. The doctors tell me I have " soft tissue damage " which I do not fully understand. I cannot drive in a car for over an hour without my spine going out. Just four days ago I coughed throwing out my back in the thorastic area. I can usally deal with the back and neck pain with the help of my percocet but nothing helps with the neck born headaches. Does anyone have any suggestions for the neck and head pain? Can anyone help explain what exactly " soft tissue damage " is? Thank you all so much!, Your posts and commits have helped me a great deal mentally . May we all see better days,
