Guest guest
Hi Cheryl V, I only have two kinds of pain relievers that are considered controled substances. I take tramadol for my normal pain and I have another one for breakthrough pain that I take only if I'm sobbing from the pain. I get 6 of those a month. The other pain relievers I take are not controled substances. I take Neurontin, celebrex, tylenol, and glucosimine chondroitin. I take Klonapin for my anxiety and panic disorder, but it also works on my merve pain. I also take an anti-depressant which is supposed to help as well. I know that here in this area, there is a huge problem with drugs. We have a police scanner and hear it all the time. Plus, I my doctors have told me that there is a huge problem with it here for some reason. Which is why most are very nervous about giving anything out to anyone who is considered young anymore. Which is probably why I get toxicology tests by my primary doctor. I will show up for an unrelated appointment and he will ask if I will give one. I, of coarse, say of coarse because I have nothing to hide. The pain clinic I go to would probably ask me for those, but they get the results from my primary doctor I think. Sometimes, I feel like I'm being treated like a criminal or being brushed off, but I try to remind myself as to why they are doing this. Yes, mine will always come back clean and with nothing that is not supposed to be there as well as the right amount of stuff that is supposed to be there. But, I am sure there have been those that do not. Love, Becky in SD Cheryl Voss wrote: How do you all get so many pain relievers? Maybe Illinois has tuffer standards or they are just brushing me off. --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
