Guest guest
Cheryl, Yeah, I guess being further north than my brother, you would get more changes. I remember being down there, and it would start to rain, but the showers would be over so quick, and within 10-15 minutes, you couldn't even tell it had rained. We were there in October one year, in Corpus, and it was still really HOT! We have a similar saying in Ohio, but you only have to wait FIVE minutes! LOL! How's my day after the holiday? Well, I'm definitely glad it's over, I can tell you that! After 2 days of non-stop Christmas in my face, I was more than ready to be done! My back has been really bothering me a lot the last week or so, but being the dork that I am, I went and made it worse last night by wearing boots with 2 1/2 inch heels! I'm seriously paying the price for choosing fashion over comfort, but these boots are awesome! I also wasn't planning to be on my feet as much as I was either! I wish you the VERY BEST of luck on trying to quit smoking, because I know just how hard it is! I'm joining a cessation group after the first of the year, quitting is my New Year's resolution. We have a really great program at the local hospital, where they give you the quitting product of your choice (patches, gum, lozenges) for free, and they hold weekly support meetings. They also have a drawing for I think a free gas card that you can enter once some level of something is below a certain point. Keep me posted on how you are doing. I'll cheer you on, then you can cheer me on when it's my turn! All my best, Jen
