I was watching an old episode of the TV series, Numb3rs, which featured a chase. You know, the 'good guys' chase the 'bad guys', either on foot or in automobiles. What struck me was the soundtrack accompanying this chase: bongo drums. If I've heard it once, I've heard it dozens of times, from very expensive movies to humble Bugs Bunny and Flintstones cartoons. Realising this provoked deep chuckles bordering on belly laughs in this viewer. It got me thinking of times in my life when a bongo-drum soundtrack was appropriate in my life; miscuing a step down and falling flat on my face was one scenario that came up.I'm wondering what similar scenarios readers of this list can relate. I'm sure there are a few.Maybe next time we 'slip up' mentally in our confrontations with reality we might listen for those bongo drums.Just some thoughts on a lonely Sunday night in Melbourne.Regards,Detlef
