Guest guest
Let me start off by saying that I am all for awareness of plagiocephaly-I wrote a whole article about it in our newspaper! But everytime I run into someone I know I feel like I need to explain why my daughter is wearing this band on her head. If people ask I have no problem telling them what it is but if they don't ask do I need to always offer the information? I know that they are wondering "What in the world is on that girl's head?" but too afraid to ask. I'm not embarrassed by it but I see the helmet as being part of her and don't feel like I need to explain it to everyone. How have you been handling these situations? Thanks!
