Guest guest
both me!! I dont post often, i tend to lurk and read most of the time. yesterday I couldnt remember my password, got all confused because when i did log in my group wasnt there...you get the idea....once my brain unscrambled I realized what i did!! Oh well...too bad I can't claim krispysis as an extra tax deduction!!! so..checking in... I am 34, live in Kansas, diagnosed in June/July 05. Been on Rebif since October ish...so maybe thats when I was officially diagnosed...initially my neuro was hesitant to dx because my MRI wasn't " typical " . I had another one done over the summer...the neuro gave me ativan because I don't particularly like mri...and the techs always tell me i dont hold still. Apparently the ativan made it worse because the *%$** tech was yelling at me not to move my head...duh..hello..have you ever heard of tape?? (the first mri i had done the tech was VERY nice and just put a nice piece of tape on my head. Plus he showed me the lesions after the mri I know they aren't supposed to do that, but he knew I was a nurse, and I think he knew *I* knew something was there!!. So..while I would like another MRI, my neuro doesnt want to do one. I know realistically the treatment won't change, but I would like to have a good comparison study with the initial mri. So..current symptoms?? Muscle tightness in my legs that resembles restless leg syndrome at times!, I'm pretty shaky on the stairs in the morning, and I have a lot of trouble with blurry vision. I was trying to start an IV at work, and all of a sudden I couldnt see well enough to do what I needed to. Doesnt bode well for the future I guess. I called the doctors office, they say start with the eye doctor since I haven't been in a year...I really think its MS related. I know the periodic double vision is. I guess thats long winded enough!! Kris krispy1rn@... aka krispy1rn...aka krispysis LOL!!
