Your at NOT dumb, just human. I make the same mistake

too.

If I have an unusually good week, I will even think

that my neuropathy pain has resolved, and I've had it

for 7 years.

These weeks, are profoundly rare, but yet somewhere in

me, is still hope. It amazes me, but perhaps I'm

either optimist, or foolish. <g>

Naturally, I over do it. I also have Bipolar Disorder,

and on the manic days that come, my brain chemistry

causes me to forget almost all of the pain - until the

next day, or a few hours.

Having mild manic episodes, are difficult to explain.

I suppose it's a lot like the euphoric feeling you

have when you first fall in love.

Regardless, ron Pat, well all have times, when we over

do it. Then we pay the consequences.

It's such a shame, that it takes you an entire month

to get your pain back under control. Will your doctor

prescribe something that can be taken when these

events occur? An entire month, feels like a lifetime

for one of us.

Especially, when there are times we have no option but

to over do it, IE when my husband had stents put in

his heart several years ago. I certainly wasn't

leaving his bedside, until he made me go home and

rest.

Life is full of surprises like this, and I need a

medication than can help me regain a more normal level

than a month.
