Guest guest
Gosh Crew I am still getting behind in my mail as my entire routine was ruined after this C-spine surgery.I just wanted to tell Carol a comforting word for her and Caren: The pain was mind-blowing for the first couple weeke and I was told tht the swelling really exacerbates it. I took the Percocet for the first ten days post op and my doc changed to a anti-inflammatory(I wasn't none too happy witth that but didnt realize it til I got home. The doc had called it in and I assumed it wud be wht I was already on). I did experience a real slight weakening/paralysis of my left hand and am wading thru the insurance bologna to get my occupational therapy started to try and regain some mobility back.We will keep lifted up before the Lord. I was dumbfounded when I read she wud be out in a week.I was in 6 days but the recovery is wht is taking time. I am a go-getter and always expect super-quick recovery but was told tht ANYTHING to do with the spinal cord is a slow going process.Take care............Jim and
