Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just cleaned out 600 e-mails that I acquired while my computer was shut down since June due to a move to a new house we have built. Lots of you have been through the war and I regret not being able to send my thoughts and prayers along with you. The spirit and the encouragement remains and I am still thankful for this wonderful forum of people who share life with NF2, Anne, my daughter, is going in on Monday for abdominal surgery. She has three tumors that they plan to deal with---one is 12 inches in diameter and makes her look ready to deliver a baby (How I wish) while the other two are not clearly defined as to their attachment and their potential damage. They are calling it an exploratory laporoscopy because the surgeon promised not to be a hero, take out tumors without regard for Anne's quality of life. In that regard they are leaving her pancreatic tumor which is about 6 inches and not touching it. The others will be removed or debulked depending on the impact on her. She'll be at Kaiser in Hollywood with Dr. O'Connell, an oncology surgeon. Our hearts are broken for Anne but she is tough and I hope can spring back quickly with much of life to enjoy in front of her. Because of many other limitations she already endures, this disorder just seems merciless. I know that prayers and love along with visualization helps her. Today we went to fly kites at the ocean which really made her happy----Mom's goal with each and every day to keep her mood good, her immune system optimal. I won't be on the computer from Jan. 31 - February 5or 6. I am happy to have rejoined AOL and gotten your wonderful messages. To you all: the very best!
