Guest guest
That’s what we are working on now. The way my pain management specialist explained it to me. BCBS makes him go through a whole lot of stuff including sending me for a psychological exam before they will pay for it. I’m looking forward to trying it. I was sent to one before, went to him twice and all I did is for 2 hours hear him tell me how good he was. ron Pat --- Shapiro wrote: > The doctor was head of a university pain management > clinic, and Head of the Department of Anesthiology. > Before they insert the permanent implant, you have > to have a psychological exam (to insure you don't > have any undue expectations, etc), followed by a > trial period. Guest guest
Jef, I had degenerative disc disease before my fusion and it was the reason I had to have it to stabilize my spine. I have the psycological exam and know they do a trial period. I will go see my neurosurgeon on the 14th and we have had this as an option whenever I say, I have had my pain controled with pain medication. I might do it since it is on the outside during the trial period. I hope you continue to have success. I will let you know what I decide for moral support.
