Trying to help my family find a nursing home for my grandmother has increased my stress level. With the increase in stress comes an increase in pain. My pain level today has been in the 7-9 range. It usually runs 3-4. I have an appointment with my doctor next Wedbesday. That's as soon as she could get me in. She will refill my Darvocet over the phone se I plan on calling her today and telling her that the Lyrica just isn't working. There is question as to if Lyrica dialyizes off and if it does why continue taking it considering the fact I am on dialysis. It is now 1:30 in the morning and I hurt so bad I can't sleep. I'm sure I'm not the first one this has happened to. I just can't stop worrying about my grandmother. I was told that medicare will pay for a certain number of days in a nursing home then private insurance or medicaid takes over. Does anyone know how many days she has so we can file the proper paperwork?
