Guest guest
It is my understanding (via my pain doc) that WA state has limited the amount of pain meds that can be prescribed. My Dr. is in Oregon and he has many patients that come from Idaho, WA and Northern CA as well as Oregon. However, he doesn't accept insurance, but will give you a receipt that can be submitted for reimburse. I've been seeing him for 4 years and am happy with him. Also, he will never go to 3 months between appointments, but will do 2 months between starting this year, for established patients only. To ( I think) who told me to request the Lidoderm fills be written for 90 patches for month as my co-pay is $60 no matter the amount I recieve. Well, the dr. went for it, but my insurance co. would still only cover 30 days at a time, as they are not FDA approved for pain, but for herpes and shingles, which I don't have.
