Hi ,I had an issue with achilles tendonitis for over 6 months, while I was on the road. Long after i killed the critters living there, I still had to heal the damage they'd done, and it got re-injured frequently when we were on the road. Someone mentioned that shark cartilage is excellent for healing this, but in amounts I wasn't willing to pay for. I should have. When I finally took over 10 caps a day, the problem resolved pretty quickly. The other thing that helps this sort of injury is a mix of DMSO and aloe. DMSO is very drying to the skin with repeated use, so I strongly recommend mixing it 40%/60% aloe. I apply with a glass refillable 1 oz roll-on I got on eBay. Add the DMSO last. I recently sprained a ligament to my kneecap and knee couldn't bear any weight at all without my 'locking' my knee. this favored the knee-cap, but strained the back of the knee. I chased pains all around with DMSO and it cleared in a week! Be careful, though. Anything that's sprained or strained is damaged and sometimes can re-damage. That's harder to come back from, as the 'bungee' never quite gets it snap all the way back.Be well,Léna

Group,

I wanted to give an update to an experiment I've been trying.

I have had a strained hamstring for months, which I continued to re-injure, and decided to try a frequency with the Doug Coil machine to see if it would help heal it.

Here is the update so far.

I tried 324 for 5 minutes at a time on the area. I was a little surprised, because although it felt no different during the treatment, immediately following, I felt no pain in the area. The pain would come back each day, but over time it was not as severe.

That frequency must have done one or both of 2 things:

1. Turn off the pain transmission of the nerves.

2. Reduce the inflammation of the injured area, which in turn took the pressure off the nerves, and helped allow the area to heal.

The injury now seems to be healed, but I'll be interested to see how it holds up over time.

And I'm also interested to know if any of you have had any similar experiences.

Please share if you've got something to add. I'm sure there are a lot of people in the group who want to get back to their pre-Lyme activities and may strain some muscles. Anything to help get them back on the road would be a good thing.

Hi ,Interesting stuff—thanks for sharing!I’ve been coiling for Lyme and Bart. (most heavily for Bart.) for 6 months now, and am finding that as I eradicate Bart. from different parts of my body, the muscle pains that I had there are going away too. My biggest herx challenge has been muscle spasms when I coil, but after a couple of months of spasms I now have a lot less pain. Another thing I’m learning is that you really do have to get every inch of your body to get rid of Bart. I’ve been using the coil on top of my feet for up to a minute for the last couple of weeks and decided to lean the coil against the back of my ankles last night after I did my feet. I woke up with a sore left Achilles tendon and burning heels. These are both symptoms I’ve had in the past, but had no idea they might have been caused by a bacteria. I’ve also had chronic problems with a tendon that runs across the “sit bone”. It’s been feeling much stronger and less sore lately, but last night I put the center of the coil on that sit bone for about 20 sec., and it was sore this morning—must still be some critters in there. I’m thinking more and more that Bart. really likes to embed itself in tendons. This is completely my theory, but it seems to be true for me.Tarahttp://www.flickr.com/photos/focused-on-birdshttp://www.youtube.com/h2otara
