Guest guest Posted May 16, 2002 Report Share Posted May 16, 2002 I never had a working fistula or graft. They both failed. I always dialysized with a subclavian catheter, never a neck one. However, the DOQI Guidelines (I believe) say that the preferred site is the neck. The subclavians tend to scar and stenose (sp?), that is close-up.
