Rickettsia. Like typhus. My friend, who is a new mother, was just diagnosed with rmsf. It is spread by the large dog tick, endemic to north america and parts of south america. She says she thinks shes had it for 8 months. Does anyone know any special treatments for this. I cant find anything. Thanks.
