Guest guest
Dear Lena, I've been out of the loop lately for various reasons and find I can't always read the lists, but I happened on the post about your possibly leaving and why. I've been on multiple lists since 2006, and never have I heard of anyone being asked to leave for such a reason. The only bad experience I had on a list that I recall, was with a list for women with chronic illnesses of all sorts that was such a closed knit community, they were very resistant to new members and I found it to be judgemental. But never on a Lyme list and that was the only experience like that. It was disappointing, but oh well, thank goddess for people like you on the Lyme lists. When I first became disabled from Lyme I wanted so much to hear from people that had RECOVERED, were doing well, etc. I could find very few on the lists. I chocked it up to people getting well and moving on with their lives, which is understandable. However, it's wonderful to hear from people in all diff stages of their journey IMHO including those who have recovered. Also, whenever I have read your posts they have always been very supportive, kind, and helpful. I think it's evident the group appreciates you. I think it would be a loss to the list for you to leave, esp. if you don't want to, but due to someone else's opinion that sounds misguided to me for whatever reason. I don't know what was up with that person, we all have our days, but I just want to chime in and say I support you staying! I don't care if you are " well " or not or how many lists you are on! You are most appreciated here! Evidenced by all the responses asking you to stay! Thanks for sharing your experience with us, hard as it was. Take care and be well, CL (cronelesbo)
