Guest guest
Hi, All. I had nerve and muscle EMG testing in my right arm and shoulder today. A little recent history - I had the steroid injection (for muscle tightness and spasm) into my trapezius muscle (on Feb 6th) that caused a dent (Feb 25th thru present), and now I have been having numbness (a loss of sensation) in my right index finger and thumb and loss of grasp strength/sensation between those two fingers (starting with the dent and getting progressively worse, rather quickly). OK. So my test today was " Normal! " What? The Neurologist who conducted the testing, said that the nerves were doing their job, and the muscles theirs. So, what is the problem? Is this common with chiari? Does this mean that the nerves are sending messages but the brain is not receiving them? What is that called? I know that's a lot of questions for a single breath. But, I'm curious, and I'm thinking that maybe someone else is having a similar experience? Jade --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo!
